
DAO YIN YANG SHENG GONG
DAO YIN and YANG SHENG are two health enhancing practices amongst the many treasures in traditional Chinese medicine. They have been practiced extensively for thousands of years in China to help prevent and cure diseases, and are highly appreciated by the masses.
Legendary teacher Zhang Guangde made a keen study of the classical theories of Chinese DAO YIN , YANG SHENG and Longevity schools, inherited a family owned exercise for chronic diseases from his maternal grandfather and thus developed DAO YIN YANG SHENG in the years between 1974 and 1976. Theoretically, these exercises are guided by the theories of traditional Chinese medicine such as the concept of holism, the theory of diagnosis and treatment based on differential analysis of symptoms and signs, the ancient theory of Yin and Yang and the five evolutionary phases and Energy Circulation through Channels, and the etiology and pathology of diseases and related studies of modern medicine.
These exercises are practiced under sweet and elegant Chinese music. It takes about 10 minutes to complete one set of exercise except for the Meridian Dynamic Exercise with Forty-nine Postures which requires 28 minutes to finish. The exercises are characterized by newly designed movements, well organized combination of postures and unique style which keeps the breath of ancient flavor.
